Dedicated to Higher Education and Research Computing
Higher Education institutions and Research Computing IT is our focus. There is no other venue in Canada where you'll have the opportunity to show what your institution has accomplished, learn from others trying to solve the same problems, and find novel new opportunities that are specific to our space.
Approximately 45 minutes from Vancouver International airport by car or cab, or inexpensive public transit options from the airport, the conference venue, Simon Fraser University's Burnaby Campus, is close to the city lights, but without crowds to contend with.
Where to Stay
Stay within a tight budget with shared, yet roomy, accommodations, or take your pick of more private rooms either on campus, in the nearby area hotels, or pick a spot in Downtown Vancouver so you can combine a family vacation with the conference.
National Focus, more opportunities
More information that is relevant to your world allows you to make better, more powerful decisions. With a national focus, CANHEIT-TECC provides a breadth of focus that you can't get from a regional conference, but remains focused on the Canadian perspective.
