Pre-breakfast activities are run through SFU Recreation. Shower faculties are available and complimentary towels will be provided. Participation in activities requires signing a Liability Waivers Form. Paper forms will also be available at the meeting point at WMC 2262.

Mountain Top Ice Cream Social & Poster Gallery

Tuesday, June 19
4:15 pm – 5:15 pm, Convocation Mall, SFU Burnaby Campus

Join us in Convocation Mall for a cool treat and explore the poster gallery where poster presenters will be on-site to discuss their work. Visit the exhibit hall for a chance to win a helicopter tour of the Metro Vancouver’s North Shore and the Sea to Sky corridor. Draw will take place at 5:05 pm, and you must be in attendance to win. Two winners will be drawn and immediately whisked away to their adventure in the sky. Transportation will be provided to the flight then on to the Night Out at Mahony & Sons.

Join us at the Playground of the Gods at Burnaby Mountain Park as we kick off CANHEIT-TECC 2018. Experience the view of Metro Vancouver from above the clouds while enjoying light appetizers, drinks, and conversation with conference delegates from across the country and the world.

The CANHEIT-TECC 2018 awards gala will be a unique evening with great entertainment. Held at Simon Fraser University’s Burnaby campus,  begin with views of the North Shore Mountains at the reception in West Mall Centre then move to Convocation Mall for dinner, awards, and entertainment. This event will showcase Metro Vancouver’s culinary, cultural and entertainment excellence while also celebrating leadership and innovation in Canada’s higher education IT and advanced research computing communities.

The Compute Canada and CUCCIO Awards are your chance to recognize and honour the dedication, commitment and hard work of your peers.
